The action-thriller game, staring Ellen Page and Willem Dafoe, launched on October 11th exclusively for the PlayStation 3 and went on to sell 1 million copies within 3 months of launch, selling its millionth copy sometime during Christmas.

The announcement was made through the Beyond website, with a special thank you page to fans. Whilst the numbers are impressive, Beyond has yet to outsell Quantic Dream’s previous game, 2010’s critically acclaimed Heavy Rain, which has sold over 3 million copies.

Roobla recently reviewed Beyond: Two Souls, rating it a 7.6 out of 10, praising it for its cinematic experience and performances but criticising it for its gameplay and failure to remain to its core story.
