Free bonus material available for Alan Wake on PC

Alan Wake's screenplay, making of documentaries, concept arts, production photos and soundtrack are included in bundle available on Steam.

A bundle of free bonus material for Alan Wake on the PC has been released on Steam.

Remedy Entertainment, the developers of the psychological thriller, have released some bonus materials for the critically acclaimed game including early video demos.

Alongside the demos are special making of documentaries which chronicle the production of Alan Wake and the story of Remedy Entertainment, a music video for Old Gods of Asgard’s “Balance Slays The Demon”, and a clip from The Harry Garrett Show.

Also concept art, production photos, high resolution wallpapers and printable cardboard cutout characters are included in the package along with two graphic grovels set in the Alan Wake world. Written by Sam Lake and Mikko Rautalahti, they are titled “Night Springs” and “Pyscho Thriller”

The soundtrack to Alan Wake’s DLC follow up, “Alan Wake’s American Nightmare”, and a sheet of music from the original, both composed by Petri Alanko are available alongside the complete Alan Wake screenplay, written by Sam Lake and Mikko Rautalahti, scripts for The Writer and The Signal, narrations, Mr. Scratch videos, radio shows and manuscript pages.

In order to gain your copy of the special features, you need to have the original Alan Wake game downloaded for PC, currently available on Steam.

Alan Wake launched in 2010 exclusively for the Xbox 360 and went on to earn critical acclaim worldwide for its story, graphics and gameplay. A console sequel was in production at Remedy but was positioned earlier this year.

Remedy’s next game, Quantum Break, exclusively for the Xbox One, is currently in production and a recent preview of the game aired at the Spike TV VGX Awards earlier this month. The game’s release date has yet to be announced.
