In the spirit of Easter we present to you the top bunnies in motion picture history…
10. Anon.
Kevin McCarthy pulls the most monstrous looking rabbit ever commited to celluloid out of a hat in Joe Dante’s segment of The Twilight Zone Movie.
9. Harvey
Imaginary bunny friend #1. James Stewart’s best friend Harvey is disturbingly only seen in a painting.
8. Roger Rabbit
Roger Rabbit, who is married to probably the sexiest cartoon character ever, Jessica Rabbit. Eat your heart out Betty Boop.
7. White Rabbit
The White Rabbit from Tim Burton’s Alice In Wonderland. Another signature performance from the great Michael Sheen.
6. Frank
Imaginary bunny friend #2. Donnie Darko’s conscience turns out to be a very sinister looking bunny called Frank. Check out those teeth.
5. Anon.
Ever wondered where the term ‘Bunny Boiler’ comes from? Watch Fatal Atrraction. Bunny lovers beware, you may be scarred for life!
4. Were-Rabbit
The cutest monster of all time, the Were-Rabbit from Curse of the Were-Rabbit. The only plasticene bunny in this list!
3. B-Rabbit
Jimmy ‘B-Rabbit’, as essayed by Eminem in 8 Mile. The only human rabbit on this list.
2. Thumper
Bambi’s best mate Thumper. Has a very annoying voice and a twitchy leg.
1. Bugs Bunny
No list of movie bunnies would be complete without the original and best, Bugs Bunny. He’s appeared in numerous shorts and made the hop into feature films with Space Jam. He also appeared in Looney Tunes: Back in Action directed by Joe Dante (see no. 10 on this list). Only bunny to have his own star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
Mention ought to be made of EB in the film Hop. He would qualify as the only genuine Easter Bunny on this list. However, the film is so bad, it would not make the Top 100 let alone Top 10!
