The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is undoubtably one of the best games ever made, so it’s no surprise that the impact it left behind is huge. All quests, whether they be part of the main story, side missions, or witcher contracts are filled with little moments that take the game to a whole new level. With that in mind, take a look at what we consider to be the top five memorable moments of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt.
5. Through Time and Space
Towards the end of the game as Geralt draws near to The Wild Hunt, an opportunity to experience interdimensional travel presents itself. Unfortunately for Geralt this means going through portals, but in doing so you get to navigate your way through a variety of beautiful and hostile worlds that has you putting your witcher signs to good use.
4. The Play’s the Thing
The Play’s the Thing isn’t your usual monster slaying quest, instead it offers an entertaining break from the heavy action that comes with a witcher’s lifestyle. When Geralt needs to lure the shapeshifting doppler, Dudu out of hiding he enlists the help of the poet Pricilla to put on a play. The result is an unexpected shift of tone with Geralt making his acting debut.
3. Geralt and Ciri’s Reunion
Geralt’s desperate search for Ciri is the driving force behind most of the game. When he finally finds her seemingly lifeless body on The Isle of Mists, all seems lost. As Ciri wakes in Geralt’s arms, he is flooded by memoires of the two and us players are rewarded with a powerful and moving moment.
2. Drunk Witchers
During the Ugly Baby mission, Geralt and his fellow witchers are given a rare night off. After a few too many drinks, Geralt, Lambert, and Eskel play a drinking game that leads to some very interesting confessions. As the night progresses it’s not long before things are taken a bit out of hand and the trio’s fun is regrettably put to an end.
1. The Wolven Storm
While hunting for Dandelion, Geralt and Zoltan pay a young poet named Priscilla a visit in hopes she can help them find the missing bard. They arrive just in time to see Priscilla perform, where she sings a heartfelt song about Geralt and Yennefer’s complicated relationship that captivates all who are listening.
