Following it’s officially unveiling a couple of days ago at E3, a new 20-minute gameplay video has been released for the new Life is Strange title.
The video, shown above, showcases three separate scenes from the first episode of Life is Strange: Before the Storm which is set for release on August 31st.
The first scene takes place in an abandoned mill on the outskirts of Arcadia Bay where Chloe has managed to gain entry to an illegal concert. The second takes place later in the episode where the girls have spent the day together in another brand new environment called The Overlook – and the third and final scene will take the girls back to an important area from the first game that fans will be familiar with.
Set three years prior to the events of the original Life is Strange, the new three-part episodic adventure introduces a rebellious 16-year-old Chloe Price who forms an unlikely friendship with the beautiful and popular Rachel Amber. But when a family secret comes to light, their relationship is tested as they must overcome their own demons.
Original developers DONTNOD Entertainment won’t be returning for Before the Storm, with production being handed to Deck Nine Games, a Denver based studio.
The game will be available for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC.
