Warner Bros. are to begin issuing refunds to PC users due to Batman: Arkham Knight still experiencing issues following it’s re-launch last week.
According to reviews posted on the game’s official Steam page, owners of the PC edition of Rocksteady Studios’ critically acclaimed title are still reporting running issues with the game.
Warner Bros. last week re-launched the title on PC after they pulled the title from sale a few months ago.
The re-launch featured a brand new patch which supposedly fixed many of the issues users had previously reported. The re-launch also included a special compensation package for those affected.
Over the weekend, Warner Bros. issued a statement, saying that refunds will be offered to those still affected until the end of 2015.
“We are very sorry that many of our customers continue to be unhappy with the PC version of Batman: Arkham Knight,” read the statement.
“We worked hard to get the game to live up to the standard you deserve but understand that many of you are still experiencing issues.
“Until the end of 2015, we will be offering a full refund on Batman: Arkham Knight PC, regardless of how long you have played the product. You can also return the Season Pass along with the main game (but not separately).”
The studio also promised to continue working on fixing remaining issues.
Currently, of the 19,323 reviews the title has received on its Steam page, just 46% are positive.
Arkham Knight takes place one year following the events of Arkham City, as Batman faces the ultimate threat against the city he is sworn to protest when The Scarecrow returns to unite an impressive roster of super villains to destroy The Dark Knight forever.
It is currently available for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
