The first of five add-on packs for Alien: Isolation will release this Tuesday, SEGA have announced.
Out on October 28th, the pack, titled: ‘Corporate Lockdown’, will offer players three new maps for the game’s Survivor Mode, new objectives and a new game mode.
In ‘Corporate Lockdown’, Seegson Executive Ransome has learnt that his paymasters have abandoned him. Knowing that the Torrens is on the way, he decides to make his escape and hitch a ride on board, taking decoded Nostromo data with him. However, while escaping, he wants to tie up a few loose ends.
The three new challenge maps – ‘Severance’, ‘Scorched’, and ‘Loose Ends’, players will be face each other through the game’s online leaderboards, to escape the station in the fastest possible time or attain the top score through numerous side missions and hidden bonus objectives.
The new Gauntlet Mode will see players challenged to top the leaderboards by completing all three challenge maps back-to-back without dying.
Priced at £5.50, it will be available for download via online marketplaces for available platforms.
The four remaining packs – ‘Trauma’, ‘Safe Haven’, ‘Lost Contact’, and ‘The Trigger’ – are scheduled to be released by March 2015 and will feature more new maps, playable characters, objectives and game modes.
Alien: Isolation is currently available for Xbox One, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, and PC.
