Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare won’t be released on Wii U, the co-founder of Sledgehammer Games has revealed.
Asked by a fan on Twitter, Michael Condrey revealed that Activision made the decision to not release Sledgehammer’s upcoming action-shooter title for the Wii U.
“No, no Wii U,” he replied. “That was an Activision decision. We are focused on Xbox One, PS4, and PC.”
Revealed back in May, Advanced Warfare will be released on November 4th for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC.
Set in the year 2054, the player must restore order in a state of advanced warfare against a private military corporation, head by antagonist Jonathan Irons.
Academy Award winning actor Kevin Spacey will portray Irons.
