The Last of Us: Remastered will be launching at the end of July, it was revealed yesterday.
During Sony’s E3 conference last night, a trailer for the Remastered edition of Naughty Dog’s 2013 critically acclaimed survival-thriller premiered and revealed the title would be hitting the PlayStation 4 on July 29th.
It is expected to launch in Europe on Friday, August 1st.
Announced back in April, the Remastered edition will feature all previously released DLC, including the first and only story DLC, Left Behind, high resolution character models, improved lighting and shadows, and runs in 1080p.
For those who pre-order the game, you’ll receive 100 supply points for use in factions mode, two special bonus skins for protagonists Joel and Ellie once you’ve completed the story, increased crafting speed, increased healing speed, 9mm reload speed increase and rifle clip capacity increase.
The BAFTA award winning game launched in 2013 to worldwide critical acclaim for its immersive environments and emotional story.
It has gone on to win over 200 Game of the Year awards and has sold over 6 million copies.
A film adaptation, also written by Druckmann, is currently in development.
