The first five minutes of Far Cry 4 have been shown during E3.
For the opening of their conference, Ubisoft showcased the first five minutes of the fourth installment in the action-adventure series, as shown above, which hits stores on November 18th for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One, Xbox 360 and PC.
Unveiled back in May, it will be set in Kyrat, a mountainous paradise in the Himalayas.
You play as Ajay Ghale, a young man returning home to fulfill his mother’s final wish. Having fled from cival war in Kyrat 25 years ago, she requests Ajay to return home and scatter her ashes. But upon returning, it’s revealed the Ghale family founded a rebellion that is struggling and fighting a war against self-appointed king, Pagan Min.
As Ajay explores more of Kyrat he becomes involved with the rebellion and The Golden Path. With their leadership divided, Ajay begins making choices, which will steer the Golden Path towards the liberation of Kyrat.
For the first time in the series, players can invite friends to join them in the sprawling open-world.
It will feature an array of weapons, vehicles, animals, as well as mountain climbing.
The Last of Us and Bioshock Infinite actor Troy Baker will portray pagan Min.
