Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag sells 11 million copies

Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag has sold over 11 million copies, it was announced today.

Ubisoft, the game’s publisher, revealed during its earnings report that the action-adventure title, which launched in October 2013, has gone on to sell 11 million copies.

The company labeled the game’s performance as “great”.

Critically acclaimed worldwide, Black Flag went on to win several Best Action-Adventure Game awards and received nominations for Game of the Year.
