EA have announced NHL 15, the next instalment in the popular hockey series.
The company revealed that EA Sports’ NHL 15 will be hitting stores worldwide this fall for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.
EA wrote in a press release: “Experience the hard hitting chaos and unpredictability of the sport as real-world physics are extended to all 12 players on the ice, as well as the puck itself. Look, move, play and think like a real hockey player with all new authentic player modelling and an evolved arsenal of tools, including the Superstar Skill Stick and Vision AI that allow for an unprecedented level of control and elevated player intelligence.”
A list of new features include “true hockey physics” such as 12 player NHL Collision physics and Real Puck physics, authentic player and equipment models, unprecedented player likeness, superstar skills stick, Vision AI
Featuring commentary from Mike “Doc” Emrick and Eddie Olczy, TSN analyst Ray Ferarro will also provide insights as well as special NBC Sports Game Day Presentations for matches in authentic arenas for over 9,000 living fans.
In partnership with the National Hockey League, and the NHL Players’ Association, EA said that fans are able to decide who will be featured on the front cover of the box art.
Eight stars are available to vote for via NHL.com with the winner being announced at the 2014 NHL Awards on June 24th.
