Minecraft on PC sells over 15 million copies
The creator of Minecraft has revealed that the game has sold over 15 million copies on PC.
Minecraft has sold over 15 million copies on PC, it’s creator revealed today.
Markus “Notch” Persson, the creator of the sandbox indie game, revealed on his Twitter account that the game recently passed the 15 million sales mark.
He wrote: “The original Minecraft has sold 15 million copies! Time to celebrate!”
As of April 4th, the Xbox 360 version has sold 12 million copies whilst the PS3 version has sold 1 million copies as of January, 24th.
