The Amazing Spider-Man 2 video-game tie-in coming to mobile devices

A video game tie-in for the upcoming sequel to The Amazing Spider-Man is coming to mobile devices, it was announced yesterday.

Gameloft announced they and Marvel are partnering to release The Amazing Spider-Man 2 for iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch, Android, Windows Phone, and feature phones this coming April, alongside the movie of the same name staring Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone.

Set to an original story inspired by the movie, the game will see Spider-Man battle Electro and Green Goblin across New York City.

A console game tie-in, also titled “The Amazing Spider-Man 2” is scheduled for release in May.

The Amazing Spider-Man 2 movie releases in April in Europe and May in the US.
