New Tony Hawk video game in development

Activision has confirmed that a new Tony Hawk video game is in development.

During a recent episode of his Demolition Radio show, legendary skateboarder Tony Hawk himself revealed that a new game was in the works.

Whilst offering virtually no other details, he said: “We’re working on a game, we are working on a game, it’s pretty cool.”

Now Activision has confirmed to IGN that the game is in development and more news is expected soon.

A representative said: “Activision can confirm that they have something in the works with Tony Hawk, more info is coming soon.”

The previous Tony Hawk game was Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater HD, a high-definition remake of Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater and Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 2. Upon release in July, August and September 2012, the game received a mixed response from critics.
