Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate – Deluxe Edition will be launching on April 1st, Warner Bros. and DC Entertainment announced yesterday.
The game, previously only available to PlayStation Vita and Nintendo 3DS users, will be launching for the PlayStation 3, via the PlayStation Network, Xbox 360, via the Xbox Live Marketplace, Wii U, via the Nintendo eShop and PC, via Steam, for £15.99.
Developed by Armature Studio, the developers of the handheld versions, Batman is called to restore order after a gang-fueled uprising occurs within the walls of Blackgate Prison. As the story progresses players will learn about the aftermath of Batman: Arkham Origins – released last October – and learn more about Batman’s past.
The game will feature enhanced high-definition graphics, a new map and hint system, 5.1 surround sound and a fully voiced narrative. Players who register, or sign into, a Warner Bros. ID account will gain access to the exclusive Zero Year Batsuit skin.
Two screenshots, see below, were also released along with the press release.
