[dropcap]T[/dropcap]he special announcement that was teased last week and last night has been revealed as a story DLC.
Last week, on its official Facebook, a picture was released showing a date for 31st December and the caption revealed an announcement regarding to series would be revealed. Yesterday, via Twitter, a second tease was released. A picture showing an invitation card to a Humanitarian of the Year ceremony, read: “You are cordially invited to the Humanitarian of the Year Awards at the Wayne Manor on New Year’s Eve”.
Now the announcement has just been released via their Twitter that an all new story DLC is to be released this coming year. No further details have been provided as of yet.
Batman: Arkham Origins, the latest in the series, launched on October 25th. It received a mixed response from critics who praised the story and detail but criticised the city’s lifelessness and its lack of ambition.
It was the first game not to be developed by Rocksteady Studios, the developers of the previous Arkham Asylum and Arkham City instalments which earned numerous nominations for Game of the Year awards. It was taken over by Warner Brothers Games Montreal and published by Warner Brothers Interactive.
