Will Wonder Woman & Nightwing Appear in Batman Vs. Superman?

[dropcap]N[/dropcap]ew rumours online are speculating that Wonder Woman and Nightwing (Dick Grayson, formerly the first Robin) may appear in Man of Steel sequel Batman vs. Superman. According to Forbes and Latino-Review the studio put out casting calls for an actor and actress to play the characters.

Nightwing is a vigilante like Batman who relies on martial arts techniques and acrobatics to fight crooks. He is also well known in the comics for using two batons as weapons and he occasionally teams up with Batman to deal with serious threats. If the character does appear in the Man of Steel sequel it will be his feature film debut.

Wonder Woman is well known to many but she has yet to appear in a modern superhero film. Introducing her in Batman vs. Superman would be a wise move and if popular it could lead to a solo Wonder Woman film. According to Schmoes Know, the former Bond girl Olga Kurylenko did a screen-test for the role although this rumour has not been confirmed.

It would be very cool to see a DC film featuring a group of superheroes working together – Batman vs. Superman could be that film, but only time will tell if the rumours are true.

Batman vs. Superman is due out on July 17, 2015.
