If, like us, you’re lucky enough to be heading to Manchester’s ‘Big Weekend’ pride event, then you’ll know that there’s a plethora of amazing music acts that you should be setting your attention on. To help you get ready to party, we’ve curated some of the best tracks from today’s line up. Have a listen below:
Anne-Marie – Alarm
London based Anne-Marie has been climbing her way up through the meshes of the pop music scene for quite a while now… and it’s paying off. This track Alarm, came about online three months ago and completely blew up. She’ll be one not to miss and it’s sure to be an electric set.
MNEK – At Night (I Think About You)
Also based in London, MNEK has been quickly making a name for himself thanks to his infectious lyric and production combo.
Joe Slater – Problems
From Liverpool, big things have been predicted for this young lad by the local Liverpool press and once you listen to him it’s understandable as to why. He’s only just finished a coffee shop tour promoting his new music and his set on the Sackville Garden’s Boutique stage is not one to be missed.
Son of 8 – In & Out

Another coming from the Mersey, these two incredibly talented individuals formed in the bid to create a new kind of electro music. Taking influence from an incredibly large spectrum of genres, instruments and musicians, they’ve pooled together to create something pretty special.
Katy B Feat. Chris Lorenzo – I Wanna Be
Katy B disappeared off the radar a bit, but then she thankfully came back with the announcement that she was working on a new Honey project (which the track above is part of). It included some pretty phenomenal names including Kaytranada, Floating Points and even Craig David. Now, she’s headlining todays proceedings.
