A new trailer for Middle Earth: Shadow of War has been released showing off some of the gorgeous vistas you’ll be witnessing as you battle your way through Middle Earth in this sequel to Middle Earth: Shadow of Mordor (2014).

Continuing on from the events that took place in Shadow of Mordor, Talion has forged a new Ring of Power which Celebrimbor (the spirit of the elf lord infused with Talion) believes can be controlled to avoid becoming a Dark Lord and instead become a king. With Sauron and his Nazgul forces making an unwelcome return, Talion agrees to help stop him.

Expanding on the Nemesis system introduced in it’s predecessor, the player’s actions will have even more consequences to that of the world around them and the people with which they interact.

Middle-earth: Shadow of War will be available for Xbox One, Project Scorpio, Windows 10 PC (Windows Store and Steam), PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 4 Pro beginning August 25th 2017.
