Development on the next 3D Mario game has officially begun, a producer has told Edge Magazine.
According to Nintendo producer Yoshiaki Koizumi, development has begun but he has refused to reveal whether the game will be for the Nintendo 3DS or Wii U.
Talking to Edge Magazine, in a feature to be published on April 10th, he said: “That’s still a secret [whether it’s on 3DS or Wii U]. I can tell you though that we’ve already started approaching our next challenge.”
Koizumi also said that if the game were to be a Wii U title, “it could make greater use of the console’s GamePad”.
The April 10th issue of Edge Magazine will be available on April 10th in print, on iPad, Google Play and Zinio.
