6 brand new screenshots for Batman: Arkham Knight have been released today.
First announced earlier this month, Batman: Arkham Knight is to be developed by Rocksteady Studios, the developers of the critically acclaimed Batman: Arkham Asylum and Batman: Arkham City.
Warner Bros. and DC today unveiled the new screenshots, shown below, showcasing Batman, the Batmobile, Commissioner Gordon and Arkham Knight, the all new villain for Batman.
Taking place a year after the events of Arkham City, you play as Batman as he faces the ultimate threat against the city he is sworn to protect. The Scarecrow returns to unite an impressive roster of super villains, including Penguin, Two-Face and Harley Quinn, to destroy The Dark Knight forever.
For the first time in the series the Batmobile will be a core element in the game with an entirely new area of Gotham City to explore.
Batman: Arkham Knight will also concluded the Batman: Arkham franchise.
The game is scheduled for release in 2014.
