Far Cry 4 will be released in the first half of 2015 and will be set in the Himalayas, according to EuroGamer.
Acting on information from sources, EuroGamer is positive that the next instalment in the action-adventure series will switching its traditional setting of sandy, tropical paradises for the snowy Asian mountains and is aiming to be released sometime before the end of March 2015.
At the upcoming E3 convention in June, Ubisoft will unveil more information regarding the game, a source said.
Ubisoft doesn’t comment on rumour or speculation.
The previous instalment, Far Cry 3, released in November 2012 and earned critical acclaim worldwide. Earning numerous Game of the Year nominations, the title went on to sell over 6 million copies.
